The old fast bowls, Umar Gul and Shaun Tait, are among the main contestants to become the new bowling coach of Bangladesh’s Men’s Cricket Men’s Cricket team. It is believed that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is looking for a new bowling coach.
Andre Adams is currently Bangladesh’s bowling coach, but the council is not satisfied with his performance. As a result, the Council is looking for a change and a Umar Gul and Shaun Tait will be designated for the paper.

Umar Gul, Shaun Tait are Bangladesh Bowling Coach Contentants
According to Cricket Pakistan, Umar Gul is a strong contestant for this role. Gul has previous experience in training international teams such as Pakistan and Afghanistan. He served as A Afghanistan bowling coach for the T20 2022 World Cup.
In March 2023, the former Pakistan -Seamer was appointed Pakistan’s temporary bowling coach for the series against Afghanistan. Umar Gul has also worked with Quetta Gladiators at the Super League in Pakistan (PSL).
In the meantime, the former -Fast Australian as a Bulletin of Australia, Shaun Tait, was appointed bowling consultant to the Afghanistan cricket team in August 2021. He resigned at the end of the year. He has also served as Pakistan’s bowling coach for 12 months in the past.
During his coach with Pakistan, Tait worked closely with the three main quick bowls in the country, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf. All three have been Pakistan’s first election since then in white ball formats.
Both Umar Gul and Shaun Tait have played a good amount of international cricket and also directed the bowling attacks of their respective teams. His experience can be useful to the young Bangladesh rhythm attack.
Andre Adams is plundered
The report also stated that the BCB is not pleased with the current Bowling Coach Andre Adams, who has a contract until February 2026. The BCB had been executed in Adams for a period of two years, which began in March 2024.
Under Adams, Bangladesh saw that his quick stocks grew at a different level. They have a quick bowling arsenal better than before with a no. of young people who pass. The Spin bowler has also had a good shape with the appearance of the Rishad Hossain parameter.
However, despite having a powerful bowling attack, they have not been able to make a mark at the CPI events. The BCB considers that it must be changed in the configuration under the main coach Phil Simmons.
Bangladesh to CT 2025
Bangladesh crashed out of the Champions League 2025 Champions League group after losing the first two games against India and New Zealand respectively. While their bowls look good, the battles line dropped them several times.
Bangladesh’s next task is a two -game tests against Zimbabwe at home. The first test will be played in Sylhet while the second game will be played on the chatogram. The series will begin on April 20 in Sylhet.
