Ukrainians returned Zelensky after a catastrophic meeting with the White House

President Zelensky hoped his visit to Washington would lead to a deeper cooperation with the US, which in turn could bring strong peace. Something Sausun thinks that no one wants more than Ukrainians.

“We are those who suffer, it is very difficult to live under this stress,” she adds. “Only this morning I read that my friend’s son was killed, his second son in this war.”

The fact that the deputy and countless Ukrainians do not want is a sorted settlement. The attempt to cease fire with Russia in 2014 and 2015 allowed Moscow to prepare for a complete large -scale invasion through years.

“We knew it would be difficult, just not that difficult.”
