Belgian police said two Israeli after two pro-Palestinian groups, who stated that they waved flags from their army brigade at the Tomorrowland Music Festival.
The men were briefly detained and then released after the survey, prosecutors said.
The posterior Rajab Foundation and the global network of legal action stated that they had filed a complaint after a group of young Israelis had been noticed as the purple-white flag of the Givati brigade, claiming that the couple had committed war.
Givati’s flag was one of several Israeli flags, who waved during the production of Israeli and Jay Vinni Vichi on tomorrow’s Friday.
Prosecutors said no additional details would be published at this stage. The posterior Rajab Foundation called the Israelis arrest “a significant step forward.”
They are not believed that they were not allowed to leave Belgium.
The BBC contacted the Israeli Embassy in Brussels, which refused to comment except for confirmation that two people were released.
Before detaining the couples, the prosecutor’s office said they had decided that they could investigate the allegations in accordance with the universal law on Belgian jurisdiction, which allows local courts to consider cases related to crimes committed by Belgium.
The law was updated last year to allow the Belgian police to gather evidence of violations.
The European Jewish Association said in a statement that the Belgian authorities’ behavior is deeply concerned about two Israelis.
