Two British tourists drowned near the Big Barrier Reef of Australia

Two British tourists drowned off the coast of the popular tourist city at the southern tip of the great barrier reef.

The boy, 17 years old, and the 46 -year -old man, were brought to the sea on Sunday, swimming on the beach without rescuers at seventeen seventy – the city in Quinzend, named in the year, Captain James Cook arrived in Australia.

The couple was announced dead at the scene after a police lifeline helicopter pulled out of the water.

The Australian man is also in a life -threatening state after being taken to the sea and was transported to a hospital with serious head injuries.

While the police found that the dead were from the UK, their names have not yet been released.

“The Mission on Sunday was difficult,” “Capprzc”, an emergency rescue service that found three men who shared in social media – adding that death had occurred, “despite all the efforts of all participants.”

Police notice that the victim of the Australian man was from the city of Monto, the city about 150 kilometers deep into the seventeen.

“We are not sure that the third man jumped into the water, trying to make salvation,” said Darren Everduard in Queensland in the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC).

There is only one beach that patrols the rescuers in the range of 50 km in seventy seventy.

Police view the drowning as restless and prepare a report for the coroner.

Last year, many people were drowned in Australia, and 25% of them were born abroad, Royal Life reports Australia.

The coastal victims of Australia are mostly occurring around the streams and heads on the tide when “it’s chaos in the water,” Everand explained.

Speaking before ABC, he urged tourists to “seek local knowledge” and swim between the flags.
