Shubman Gill comes to a double ton in the Edgbaston test

Gill had a very poor record in test matches abroad before being named Captain of the Indian team and asked questions about his appointment.

However, the captaincy has adapted a lot to Gill and has completely transformed as a mixer since he took over the leadership.

In his debut as a pattern in Headingley in Leeds, he hit an excellent century and took his performance to the next level in the second test game.

Gill looked at incredible control during the Edgbaston test and made the infernal life for English bowls. He hit a fantastic 269 of 387 balls, with 30 four and 3 six to help India record a colossal marker.

With his double ton, Gill broke the Kohli virating record for the highest score for a Indian test captain and became the second youngest Indian captain who won a double-hundred-hundred test.

Shubman Gill follows a double ton with a hundred in the Edgbaston test

Gill was not satisfied with his double ton in the first entrances and followed it with a notable century at the second entrance to 129 balls.

With a double century and a century in the same test game, Shubman Gill has only become the second Indian heartbeat after Sunil Gavaskar won this feat.

In addition, it is only the second baptism to get the feat at the World Test Championship after Marnus Labuschagne. Generally, Gill has become the third baptism in the history of Cricket to mark 250 and one hundred in the same test after Graham Gooch and Kumar Sangkkara.

“Find the gap, take the single. A hundred of the first test, a double one hundred, and a hundred in the second. The Indian captain has the form of his life. Sunil Gavaskar, the only other Indian who marked a century and a double in the same test. Gill has been without cancellation and elegant at both entries.”

It then shows how Xubman Gill’s sensational performance reacted to Edgbaston’s test:
