Airlines passengers in Turkey will be fined if they get up before the security sign is switched off after landing, the regulators said.
The Turkish civil aviation body stated that it had imposed an order after receiving complaints from the passengers. The rules came into force earlier this month.
Turkish media reports state that the fines will be approximately $ 70 (50 pounds), although the recommendations of the management body are not mentioned.
The authorities warned that such incidents had a “serious growth”, and many complaints that passengers seized the overhead luggage before the plane was parked.
Turkey every year is a place for tens of millions of tourists.
Aviation Office said commercial airlines should now issue a flight application and report on those who do not comply with orders.
Passengers need to order their seat belts to be closed, and refrain from standing and opening overhead cabinets until the security sign is expelled.
Those who do not adhere to these rules must report to the powers, the report said.
According to Euronews, Turkish Airlines, a national carrier, updated the landing application.
“Passengers who do not comply with the rules will be informed by the Civil Aviation General Directorate through a devastating passenger report, and the administrative fine will be imposed in accordance with the current legal rules,” the airline said after landing, the television network reports.
BBC contacted the airline for comment.
