Tim Tszyu (25-2, 18 kos) says he is not yet sure who wants to fight after his technical victory of the fourth round about Joey Spencer (19-2, 11 kos) on Saturday night at the Newcastle Entertainment Center, Newcastle, Australia.
Tszyu, 30, did a quick job of Spencer, unloading with a punch on the fourth round to get the tie. At the old Wbo Junior Middleweight Tszyu champion, now he has the tune out of the way, he wants a great fight below.
List of targets
– Keith Thurman
– Jermell Charlo
– Errol Spence
– Bakhram Murtazaliev
– Vergil Ortiz Jr.
– Sebastian Fundora
Some are not realistic for Tszyu because he did not look enthusiastic when he mentioned the names of Vergil Jr. and Murtazaliev as possibilities. It’s not strange. The way Tszyu fought tonight, would have problems with the 154 -pound IBF champion Bakhrham Murtazaliev because he had just struggled. This is what drove him away against Murtazaliev.
Fight against the inactive Jermell Charlo, Thurman or Spencer would be more at the level of Tszyu’s business matches. The boys rarely struggle and none of them are considered relevant to 154. They are relics of the past and do not have a place in this time of sport that is not to return the days of payment, but not to win or fight for a world title.
“Yes, of course, but as I said. We have the rehydration,” said Tim Tszyu in the Post-Lluita Press Conference When asked if he would like a resale with the IBF Junior Middleweight champion, Bakhram Murtazaliev. “Probably founder. But look, there is (Jermell) Charlo, there is Thurman, there is Errol Spence and Vergil Ortiz,” said Tszyu, who undoed different fighters who could face -then.
“This is the list and they could all be number 1. If we do it, we would do it in Australia. If we can make this happen, it is a great struggle in Australia. Also, world titles and older boys. It is where I want to be.”
