Trump says to impose 50% tariff on copper imports

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday the 50% of copper fares, and suggested that the more steady duties are characteristic of the sector.

“We do copper today,” Trump said during a session of the Cabinet. “I believe that a copper tariff is going to do it 50%.”

Trump also said he would soon announce the tariffs “at a very high speed like 200%” on pharmaceutical imports.

Trump added that pharmaceutical companies can have up to one and a half years to start producing its products in the US before these new tariffs came into force, Trump added.
