Trump says tariff letters for smaller countries quickly come; Betting is probably over 10%

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the letters will soon be released, which report smaller countries about its tariffs, adding that its administration would most likely set a “slightly over 10%” tariff for these countries.

Trump, speaking with journalists after his arrival from the Pittsburgh event, said he was very pleased with “simple transactions”, who had already announced that they had set tariff rates for more than 20 countries and soon refer to tariffs for the rest of the countries.

“We will quickly release the letter, talking about many countries that are much smaller,” he said. “We will probably set one tariff for everyone … Probably a little over 10%.”
