President Donald Trump has asked the US court to order Rupert Merdak’s quick deposit in his lawsuit against Wall -Rate, citing the age -old -aged.
Trump sued a billionaire on an article in a magazine owned by the News Corp Murdoch that president wrote a “painful” letter to celebrate the birthday of the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2003.
Trump’s lawyers said on Monday that Merdak had been informed before the report that the letter was “false”.
Trump’s lawyers claimed that Merdak should be asked quickly, noting that he was 94, and “believed that recent significant health fears were suffered.”
“In combination, these factors are heavily weighed, determining that Merdak will be unavailable for personal testimony,” Trump’s lawyers said in the application in the Miami Federal Court.
The 10 billion dollars ($ 7.5 billion) against the “Wall Street Journal” states that the publication is trying to harm the reputation of the president.
Dow Jones, publisher of the magazine, made a report and stated that he was ready to defend himself against the presidential trial.
US district judge Darrin Gayls, who has asked Merdak to respond to Trump’s request until August 4.
According to the Wall Street Journal, a letter called Trump “contained several lines of the Pishutsky text, decorated with the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be drawn by hand with a big marker.”
“Inside the outline of a naked woman was a writing record, stylized as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein written by the third person,” the document reports.
He was reportedly joking that “Enigmas Never Age” and allegedly ended with the words: “Paley is a great thing. Happy birthday – and every day can be another wonderful secret.”
Trump denied writing a note after the article was published on July 17, posting: “It’s not my words, not how I speak. I don’t draw.”
The article was posted amid trooping Trump administration to reveal more information about Epstein.
Trump and Epstein spent a publicly famous friendship that covered several years. The President claimed that their relations were made in 2004, long before Epstein was arrested on charges of sex trade.
Epstein died of suicide in 2019, waiting for trial on charges of trading sex.
In addition to birthday greetings, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump said it was among the hundreds of people named in the Epstein Ministry’s documents.
On Monday, the President told reporters that his name may have been planted in Epstein’s files former Prosecutor Merick Garlend or former FBI director James Komi.
Trump has not provided any evidence confirming his allegations. Harland and Komi immediately responded to his comments.
