Trump launches probe into “unfair” trading practices Brazil

The Trump administration states that it has launched an investigation into the “unfair” trade practice of Brazil.

This will include the Brazilian government policy, “related to digital trade and electronic payment services; unjust, preferential tariffs; anti -corruption intervention,” the US spokesman said.

The investigation seeks to determine whether they are “unjustified either discriminatory and loaded or restricting the US trade.”

Last week, US President Donald Trump called on the Brazilian authorities to stop the persecution of former President Jiri Balssonar, accusing them of “hunting witches”.

Trade Ambassador Jamison Grir said the probe began in Trump’s direction “in Brazil’s attacks on US campaigns on social media, as well as other unfair trade practices that hurt US companies, workers, farmers and technology.”
