President Donald Trump cleared more than 50 national security officials who said Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the classic hallmarks of a Russian intelligence operation.”
In total 51 former national security officers In 2020, he released a public letter in which he claimed that while there was “no evidence of Russian involvement” on the laptop, it looked like a “Russian information operation.”
The letter comes after the New York Post reported it has emails showing Hunter Biden coordinated a meeting between Joe Biden and a top executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma months before forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor who investigated the company.

The list includes former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper Jr., former CIA directors Michael Hayden and John Brennan, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and former national security adviser John Bolton.
Fox News Digital previously reported that federal investigators from the Department of Justice knew that Hunter Biden’s laptop had not been tampered with and contained “reliable evidence.”
Republican lawmakers, including Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, have previously proposed revoking those officials’ security clearances.

The order was one of more than 200 executive orders approved by Trump Inauguration Dayjoining directives such as the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, which the U.S. originally entered into under former President Barack Obama’s administration in 2015.

Trump previously withdrew the US from the agreement during his first term in 2020.

Other executive orders signed by Trump on his first day include rescinding nearly 80 executive orders and memos issued under Biden, freezing federal government regulations and hiring, preventing “government censorship” of free speech and ordering every department and agency to review the costs of the life crisis.
