According to Rules 3.02 MLB, “the bat should be a smooth, a round stick of no more than 2.61 inches in diameter in the thickest part and a length of not more than 42 inches. The bat will be one slice of solid wood.” In addition, “experimental” bats cannot be used “until the manufacturer has recorded permission in the major league baseball design and production methods.”

Other players at the Brewer Club opposed the position of Megil, with the first basic feature of Hoskins that the design left its intriguing.
“I didn’t only see it after the game,” Hoskins said. “They found out a way to make it work. Logically, it makes a lot of meaning but I don’t do the physicist. But how I didn’t want to look more?”
