In the latest Weekly US Cover story, Collette, 52, teased which show she wanted To star in next, revealing only, “I want to see me on a white lotus.”
Collette quoted specifically to a creator Mike White Like the stimulant for her bucket list wish.
“I also see Mike White interestingly endlessly – with movies like Chuck & Buck From years ago – he was already blowing my mind, ”gushed.” He only has his own perspective. “
Collette continued: “I really appreciate people with the gut to be themselves and do what they want. It does.”
The HBO series, found in 2021, focuses on the guests and employees In fictional white lotus destinations (in different locations) as they experience personal progress and decline while on holiday. The anthology series is also known for a mysterious death – or two – that is eventually revealed at the end of each season.
Season 1 started out in Hawaii with an ensemble cast of Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Dardario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Steve Zahn and Molly Shannon.
After becoming popular overnight, The white lotus took to Sicily for season 2 with appearances by F. Murray Abraham, Coolidge, Adam Dimarco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Sharpe, Simona Tabasco and Leo Woodall.
Season 3 picked to Thailand and includes cast members Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell and Aimee Lou Wood.
According to reports, the fourth installment goes to France – in time for Collette to throw his hat in the area. She is looking forward after wrapping up Netflix’s Spear. which is desirable Yet a sinister town that will explore the dark side of the teenage teenage industry.
“I didn’t really know much at all. I was a bit of a beginner, and then sent (creator and star) (Martin) (Martin) has a lot of documentaries and programs and podcasts. There was a lot to take in,” Collette told us. “It’s scary and troubled, (but) I think the problem with the world is that we don’t encourage individualism and the freedom to be someone’s authentic self. Even talking about mental health in the past has been taboo or hidden away or a real problem, and it’s essential to be able to talk about these things as human beings.”
Collette have learned a lot of Spear – And she hopes the audience too.
“There are (teenagers) in these incredible moments in their lives where their bodies change, their thoughts change,” he added. “Their worlds open, and then this great thumb that comes and crush them and insists that they are a certain way. And I find the two young girls, the main characters (Sydney Topliffe like Abbie and Alyn Alyn Lind as Leila), so exciting.”
He continued: “I wish I was at their age to play one of those parts. They are so intimidating. They are so, their friendship is so tight and loving and supportive, and then they are just put in this hot water situation of view where it is supposed to help, and they see through it. But also some of it feels good and confusing.”
Spear Premieres Thursday, September 25, on Netflix.
