Tom Hanks He pays tribute to Jim Lovla, the legendary astronaut he displayed in the movie “Apollo 13”.
In the emotional tribute, located on Instagram, Hanks remembered Lawell as a real visionary. “There are people who dare, who dream, and lead others to the places that we would not go on our own,” the actor wrote. “Jim Lawel, who has long gone further into space and was longer than any other person of our planet, was such a guy.”

Hanks continued: “His many trips around the Earth and up to the moon were made not for riches and celebrities, but because such problems as this is what fueled the course of the living and who is better than Jim Lawel to make these swimming.”
When he was reflecting on the death timing, Hanks added: “That night A MoonIt transmits – to heaven, to space, to the stars. God will accelerate you, in the next journey Jim Lawel. “

Lawel was part of the three -person crew in 1970, who safely returned to the ground after an emergency Apollo’s mission 13. It was supposed to become the third mission for the moon.

Ron Howard, who led Apollo 13, also honored Laulla, whose story he helped to bring a new audience in his beloved movie.
Howard shared his heart tribute that introduced the carousel from the pictures and clips from the movie, as well as the photos nearby, comparing the astronaut in real life with the reflection of Hanks.
In his postHoward reflected on the famous Career Lavelle and the influence he had both on the world and the film, writing: “Just knowing that Jim was a huge pride. His combination of intelligence, courage and commitment to duty made him one of the most wonderful people I met.”

Howard emphasized how his presence during the production of Apollo 13 was monumental. “His support for our efforts to make films inspired authenticity and increased our process so many ways.”
He came to the conclusion: “Thank you, sir, for the service in our country and humanity.”
Lavelle’s family shared a statement about her death on Friday.

“We are extremely proud of his strange life and career, emphasizing his legendary leadership in the pioneer space flight,” the family statement continues. “But, all of us, he was a dad, his grandfather and leader of our family. Most importantly, he was our hero. We will miss his unwavering optimism, His feelings of humor and how he made each of us feel that we could do the impossible. He was really the only one.”
