Todd Chrisley Share some insight into his family’s return to reality television following their release from prison.
During Thursday, September 18, appearance on Tamron Hall ShowTodd, 56, and his wife Julie Chrisley sit down with the talk show to discuss their life after upset. Hall questioned the couple if they are “still rich,” especially after spending “$ 3 million in legal fees.”
“I would never tell you again,” joking Todd, winning laughter from Julie.
Todd also had fun in the reports that the couple “came out” from prison “$ 36 million before him,” causing Hall to ask if that meant Todd and Julie did not need to “do” Lifetime’s The Chrisleys: Back to reality “For money.”
“No, we only did two episodes, so no, he didn’t want the money,” he claimed Todd. “The tail end of this documentary needed to be closed.”
Julie added that “made sense” for their involvement.
“This was the story coming back eventually. Yes, (our daughter) Savannah had no way of knowing that the pardon would go to happen or it was going to happen when it happened. It happened, the perfect timing.”
When asked if they saw themselves continuing with reality television for the next decade, Todd admitted that he was uncertain about how long they will go, but teasing that Chrisley’s family will return for a second term.
“I don’t think I have a desire for that many years,” he explained. “It will continue, it will be raised back.”

Todd added that his children, which include Savannah. Chase. Craved. Lindsie and Kyle Chrisley“Debate” with him “Everyday” for their reality show running time. Chase, who was present for the interview, was joking that his father was not “going to mess up my check,” which won a round of laughter.
However, Todd kept him sentimental, sharing that he wanted to focus on his loved ones.
“I want Julie and I to build the home we’re going to stay in,” he said. “And to help raise our grandchildren and spend time together.”
Todd and Julie spent 28 months in prison after being convicted of paying tax and bank and wire fraud charges in 2022. The pair, which conducted their innocence, released, after being forgiven by the President Donald Trump Earlier this year.
The legal woe of the Chrisleys was highlighted on the Chrisleys Age Docuseries: Back to reality, which broadcast its season 1 finale earlier this week. The show gave an internal look at how the family coped while Todd and Julie were behind bars and how things have been since the couple’s release.
