Todd Chrisley says he haven’t spent so much time with a son really Chase ChrisleyLove, Jodi Laine Fournerat.
“Chase, I want him to have a beautiful, beautiful personal life with a relationship that feeds his soul,” said Todd, 56, during The Chrisleys: Back to reality Finishing season on Tuesday, September 16. “Someone who will be a wonderful mother and wife. Someone I like, because that’s important.”
He added, “Can you imagine being married to someone I don’t give af *** about? I have the ability to be around someone for 10 minutes and know if it’s someone I want to spend another 10 minutes with.”
Todd told the viewers that he does not really know Jodi following his release from prison.

“There has been no interaction between us and Jodi actually,” he explained.
Chase, 29, went public with Jodi in November 2023, months after postponing his engagement to ex-fathers Emmy Menner.
The Docuseries Lifetime, which performed for the first time earlier this month, offered fans an internal look at Chase’s relationship with Jodi. One episode even included Chase discussing a possible offer with a mother Julie Chrisley.
“The fact that I’m in prison doesn’t mean my job as a mother stops,” Julie said in a phone call from prison. “Yes, it is very limited in what I can do. But I am still, at the heart of me, the mother of these children.”
He explained, “When he told me he wanted to marry Jodi, I didn’t love it. I don’t know her. So I can’t be on board with my son marrying someone I don’t even know.”

“My mum doesn’t want me to rush anything. She wants me to take my time, but it’s been over two years. So, I don’t feel like I rush anything,” he said. “I think a lot of it comes from that, my mum doesn’t want to lose out on it. But there’s nothing we can do for at the moment.”
