Todd Chrisley that eldest son revealed Kyle Chrisley Visit him “One Time” in prison.
“I got an apology from Kyle,” said Todd, 56, during The Chrisleys: Back to reality Finishing Series on Tuesday, September 16. “I was in a state of shock. He reminded me and went to the vending machine and bought me a drink.”
Todd said he and Kyle, 34, “sat and talked” during the visit. (Todd shares Kyle’s son with ex-wife Teresa terry.)
“He apologized for his part (AM) for the things he had done,” he continued. “And he said, ‘If I could take them back I would but I can’t and I ask if we can only get up here and move on.’ And that wasn’t possible for me.
Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, spent 28 months in prison after being convicted of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud payments in 2022. They were released from prison after being forgiven by President Donald Trump.
“I’m ecstatic. Indeed,” Kyle said in a statement to A! News at the time. “I found out a while back and I still can’t believe it.”
He added, “I know they can’t wait to get home and just be with the family, and I’m going to stay hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.”
Kyle also praised his sister Holy savanna For her part in Pardon Todd and Julie.
“I know that Savannah has been working on this for so long and never gave up,” he added. “So I’m grateful to her and President Trump for making this happen to my father and Julie.”
Kyle is the biological father to Chloe Chrisleywho was Adopted by Todd and Julie before their time in prison. Savannah, 28, was her legal guardian while they were imprisoned.
“The adoption was never finally found until perhaps a month or two before Mum and Dad left,” said Savannah, 28, during an episode of The Lifetime Docuseries, which was broadcast earlier this year.
“Her mother lets us have her every other weekend. And then, every other weekend turns into every other week,” she said, referring to a former Kyle member Angela Johnson. “I will never forget her calling my parents one day, saying, ‘I need you to come and have Chloe. We have no place to stay and I can’t be slept in the car.’ She signed over custody completely.
Todd never “terminated” Kyle’s parents’ rights to Chloe until he had to.
“My dad could never bring himself to do it and to terminate their rights,” Savannah continued. “But they had to do that to make sure when they left, Kyle or Angela couldn’t come back and get her.”
