Tina Knowles teases a very emotional ‘matriarch’ biography before release

Tina knowles preparing to send her first biography, MatriarchOut into the world – but she was “definitely emotional” for her to write.

“It’s funny, because I’m making the sound book and some chapters, I’m still crying,” said Knowles, 71, Weekly US only in Habitat for Los Angeles’ Humanity 2025 Ball Baluters. “I’m like, ‘How many times am I going to read this and cry?’ I guess the answer is forever, because it’s my life.

Tina – mother Beyoncé and Solange knowleswhich she shares with ex-husband Mathew Knowles – tells his story in Matriarchout on April 22. She is also about to go on a pretty extensive journey to promote the book with “a few great friends,” including Palm Waking upr, Michelle Obama and Kelly Rowlandamong others.

“I’m so wonderful,” said Tina Usnoting that she hopes readers will feel “a sense of community” while reading Matriarch.

“It’s all about that,” he continued while wearing Nadine Merabi. “Also, big, big hope is that people will understand how important it is to look into your past, learn about your ancestors, and pass on that history to your children and grandchildren. That’s what I hope that will happen from this book.”

Tina was teasing these themes when she publish the biography through social media in October 2024.

“I’ve always been a storyteller, and it’s something I learned from my mum. When I had my own family, I thought my girls needed to know where they came from to know where they were going,” headed his job at the time. “I’m now ready to share my story with all of you, so we can all celebrate these strength themes, maternity, black pride, and identity.”

Apart from her own journey to promote matriarch, Tina is also preparing for her daughter Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter journey, that starts next month too. (Beyoncé released her Cowboy Carter record in March 2024.)

“I’m so excited about this one, because it’s one of my favorite albums she has ever done,” said Tina, teasing “of course” she gets some insight into the exercises.

“I think the history that went into (the album), and all the art from all the different people and genres,” said Tina. “It’s powerful. I think it’s going to be a powerful journey.”

Tina’s Matriarch The biography is expected to be published on Tuesday, April 22.
