Tina knowles on sending beyonce and solange to therapy as children

Beyoncé and Solange knowles get their mother, Tina knowlesto thank in part for their close bond.

Tina, 71, opened for raising her famous daughters in an interview with Sara Sidner on the episode of Friday, April 25, from CNN News Central. When asked how she managed to make the two women “feel special,” Tina shared, “I think one of the things is that you look at them as individuals, because they are very, very different (Solange) very, very, very different.”

Tina remembered becoming “appalling” how the sibling’s relationship would develop when Beyoncé, 43, began to perform about 10 years old. “She was in the singing group, and the children would tell Solange every day, ‘Be quiet, Solange,’ because she would try choreography and, you wanted to be involved, and they were involved in it, and they were involved.” And then I began to notice that Beyoncé would allow them to talk to it like that or it would say, okay, ‘ Because she’s doing … ‘and I’m like,’ wait a minute, this is her house, and you have to be nice to her. ‘”” ”

Noting that she “saw a wall between them come,” Tina decided to put Beyoncé and Solange in therapy together, to the great dissatisfaction for others. “My family was like, ‘You’re going to make those women mad.’ Because, you know, especially in the black community back then (people didn’t go to therapy). “Even my husband (ex-Mathew Knowles), It was like, ‘I don’t know if they are too young to do it.’ And I’m like, I’m not asking. I’m going to find someone. ‘”

Tina said she found a “wonderful” therapist that her daughters responded to, although Beyoncé “hated therapy.” Solange, however, “loves” the experience. “She loved speaking and, you know, expressed herself,” Tina said of her youngest child. “And the result was great. It was really great because they had been extremely tight ever since.”

Sidner, 52, called a tina presentation of therapy for her daughters “such a beautiful gift,” especially now that Beyoncé and Solange are “obviously tight.” Tina agreed, adding, “Yes, they are very tight.”

Despite being one of Hollywood’s famous brother or sister duets, Beyoncé and Solange have faced some troubles and disadvantages in the magnifying glass.
