TikTok star Chris O’Donnellwho was best known as Creeohdee, died aged 31.
O’Donnell died on January 11 according to his online obituary. Details of a memorial service have not been listed. One of O’Donnell’s friends paid tribute to the content creator on his obituary page.
“Chris, I will love you forever. You have been the light of my life since we met in 2016. I wish we had moved to CA together in 2021 as we talked about,” pal Morgan Ballou he wrote on Thursday, January 16. “I’d like us to keep in touch more than just online every few weeks. I have so many wishes. In the end, I wish you peace. My heart is broken. All the love and thoughts in the world to your family and Blue💙🕊️.”
One of O’Donnell’s followers also sent condolences to the family and left a sweet message about how the internet personality’s videos provided daily inspiration.
“I’m so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to your family. I never had the pleasure of knowing Chris, he was an amazing inspirational figure to myself and motivated me to hit the gym,” the fan wrote on Wednesday, January 15. “I loved watching him share his life online, showing his adventures and passions and living life to the fullest with a smile on fire. I am heartbroken for you for the loss of such an amazing and influential individual. My thoughts and condolences are with you as you grieve.”
A cause of death not officially listed. However, A! News reported that the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s office ruled it a suicide.
Fellow TikToker Iron Sanctuary (real name: Kevin Clevenger) posted a video on the platform to honor his late friend. The clip featured several moments of the pair over the years.
“One day I will find peace knowing you are no longer in pain, but today my heart is broken that you are gone. I love you,” said Iron Sanctuary upload Thursday.
O’Donnell was best known for posting fitness videos on TikTok and Instagram. According to his Instagram page, O’Donnell was also passionate about bodybuilding and horse riding. One day before his death, the social media star uploaded his last Instagram post.
“There they are,” he captioned a photo of him in the desert wearing a straw cowboy hat, aviator sunglasses and a white button-up shirt.
Many fans and loved ones paid tribute to O’Donnell in the comments section.
“I wish we had the opportunity to hike the mountains together… maybe one day we will. Rest in peace,” replied fitness influencer Daniel Ryjov while fitness trainer Nathan Freihofer responded, “You’ll be missed buddy.”
