Three police killed in shooting Pennsylvania and two other critical

Three police officers were killed and two were injured in a shooting in Pennsylvania as a result of a “home” investigation, the authorities said.

Pennsylvania Police Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris said the militant was deadly by the police.

The incident happened immediately after 2:00 pm local time (18:00 GMT). Images from the stage showed that a police officer rose to a medical helicopter.

The shooting made the neighboring school district in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania – a small town of about 2500 people – not for long. Later, the district stated that they were not injured at the school.

Officials said there was no active threat to the public.

The shooting took place in the countryside of York county in the town of North Codorus, about 100 miles (160 km) west of Philadelphia.

Authorities said the officers were at the scene for the investigation that started the day before.

Police did not share many details because the investigation continued, the Commissioner Paris said.

Governor Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro reached this area on Wednesday afternoon and met the families of the dead officers, local media reported.

“We mourn for the loss of the life of three valuable souls that served this county, served this Commonwealth, served this country,” Shapiro said.

“This kind of violence is not in order, we need to do better as a society.”

Later, Shapiro ordered all flags in the state to commemorate the dead three officers.

All Pennsylvania flags will be lowered in all public buildings and sites throughout the Commonwealth.

The director of the FBI patel said that the agents were on the ground, assisting local and state partners.

“Our prayers with officers, their families and the whole community of the York district,” the fiction wrote in a statement.
