Three lions open the defense of the European Championship with the victory

England began its defense of the European U21 championship with a 3-1 victory over Czech at the Mol Arena in Slovakia.

Harvey Elliott de Liverpool, Jonathan Rowe de Marseille and Charlie Cresswell de Toulouse picked up goals, as Lee Carsley’s side began positively in the tournament.

But with a quarter of an hour remaining, Carsley’s side restored his two -goal advantage when Cresswell headed to the corner of Alex Scott.

Everything won the three points for England and ensured a winning start to the defense of the European Championship title.

Then the three lions are on Sunday in Slovenia before a clash in the mouth with Germany on Wednesday.
