Three people were killed and 35 were taken to the hospital after Ukraine’s attack at the Izhevsk factory – more than 1000 km (620 miles) from the border, Russian authorities say.
Of those who suffered ten, he was seriously injured, said Udmurtia Governor Alyaksandr Behalov, adding that he informed President Vladimir Putin at the attack.
The drones are reportedly aiming at the electromechanical plant of the coupo-military factory, which is said to produce rocket systems superficial-air Tor and radar stations.
The plant also specializes in the production of OSA air defense systems and developed drones, Ukrainian media reports.
The Ukrainian official confirmed that two long -range drones operating in Ukraine (SBU) have hit the Coupol factory from a distance of about 1300 km (807 miles).
“Each such special operation reduces the offensive potential of the enemy, violates military production networks and demonstrates that even deep in Russia there are no safe zones for its military infrastructure,” the source said in the comments reported by Ukrainian media.
The video posted in the social media and verified BBC showed an explosion on the roof of the building, after which a large plume of black smoke, which rises above the chimney of the plant.
Razaviatia, regulator of the Russian Civil Aviation Civil Aviation, imposed restrictions on Izhev airport operations before lifting them after a few hours.
This is the second Ukrainian attack of drones at the Cupol Factory since November – although this blow has not led to the victims.
For its part, Moscow continues to attack Ukraine. Over the weekend, Russia launched a record 537 drone and missiles in different places across the country, including Kiev and the Western City of Lv.
On Monday, Vladimir Zelensky Ukraine posthumously issued a prize of the Hero of Ukraine F-16, Lieutenant Colonel Maxim Ustimenko, who was killed while trying to repel the airport.
On the battlefield SeemMoscow appears to be aimed at the eastern region of Dnipraperovsk. Confirmed reports in Russian media offered Moscow to control the first village in the region.
Two rounds of conversations aimed at coordinating the ceasefire between Kiev and Moscow were at the will of US President Donald Trump since May but failed to produce significant results.
Last week, President Putin said Russia was ready to hold a new round of peace talks, although he said that Russian and Ukrainian proposals for peaceful peace were “absolutely controversial”.
On Monday, Zelensky again expressed Putin’s skepticism. “Putin has already stolen almost six months from diplomacy … except for this war,” the Ukrainian leader said.
“Russia does not change its plans and does not seek out of this war. On the contrary, they are preparing for new operations, including in European countries.”
The Senior Messenger of the United States in Ukraine and Russia Keith Kealo repeated this on Monday when he wrote on X that Russia could not “continue to go on time until it bombed civil goals in Ukraine.”
Moscow has rapidly pushed back, saying it was not “interested in holding anything” and thank the United States for their support.
