Thousands pay their respect to the veterans of the Indian Communist leader against the enclosure, whose funeral will take place on Wednesday.
Against as he was known in the people, he died on Monday at the age of 101. He was the founder of the largest Communist Party of India and the former Minister of Southern Kerala.
Tens of thousands of people have moved the streets to pay tribute to the politician, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Kerala’s political history.
As a child, he was forced to abandon the school, he was overcome by poverty and torture in the police to become one of the most favorite leaders of the state.
He was treated at the hospital in Tirvanatopurom after the heart was stopped last month. His funeral will take place near his hometown in the Alapuzh area with full state honors.
“The struggle for the rights of the oppressed and exploited were the governing principle of his life,” Central Secretary General, the Party of the Cancer, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) or CPI (M), wrote In tribute. He called the leader the “embodiment of the struggle”.
Chief Minister Kerala Pinari Vjuayan, also from the IPC (M), called the inspiration and lessons “boundless repository of inspiration and lessons”.
In addition to Chief Minister Kerala, he was the CPI (M) member of the opposition and the CPI member for 23 years.

Agutanandan led the uprising in 1946 against the state authorities, which reportedly killed hundreds of communists. He came underground, later arrested, tortured and spent five years in prison.
His work covered the rights, land rights, education, women’s law, anti -corruption measures and environmental protection.
Crawling was not afraid to challenge his party – first of all, when he met with the widow TP Chandrasekharan, killed in 2012 by a gang, which included former CPI colleagues after he broke out to form his own party.
After public resonance forced the IPC (m) to change its attempts to cancel it in 2006 and 2011, enclosed the post of chief Minister Kerala (2006–2011) before leaving for public life after a 2019 stroke and residing with a son to Tiruvan.
