A 25-year-old girl says she works from 60 to 70 hours a week, balanced full-time work in a large technology company and works on the side bustle as influential in social media. Today she has more than 260,000 followers on different social media platforms where she publishes her career and personal finance content.

“Consistent actions are made over time,” Zhang said. This means to do something even if you don’t want to, because constant repetition is more important than the way you treat it, she explained.
Silicon fuss
Zhang grew up in the silicone valley as the only child for two immigrants.
“Life in (Silicon Valley) gives you a truly perverted perception of wealth,” Zhang said. “People believe it is very … a wealthy postal code, but my family did not really have to fit this bill.”
As a child, Zhang noticed that while many parents of her friends had several properties and good cars, her family could only afford to live only in apartments.
“The money certainly was what my parents had deficient thinking. They didn’t really talk to me directly, but I would hear them arguing about it, and I just remember that this is a negative thing … And that we could end with it once. It was the main fear,” said Zhang.
“It really influenced me, growing, and so I knew that … After graduation, I no longer wanted to live in such financial anxiety, and wanted to return to my parents,” she added.

Motivated by this, Zhang earned his entrepreneurial chops early. Along with the balance of school and extracurricular classes, in high school, she started her first business, where she did the plies using her mom’s sewing car and sold them for profits at school and online.
At the age of 12, she started posting videos on YouTube for sale and selling them online. She also managed other e -commerce businesses where she bought things in Aliexpress and resell them on YouTube. She estimated that she earned about $ 15,000 from all her business operations.
“I was always very entrepreneurial … It was a second nature to me,” she said.
Remain organized
Today, Zhang has moved this working ethics to adulthood.
Last year she balanced the work full -time, running her pages in social media and writing her first book “New Money Rules: Gen Z for Personal Finance”, which is scheduled to be published in November.
When asked about the balance of working life, she replied: “I don’t really think it exists, honestly.”
To manage everything, it offers batch tasks to save time. For example, instead of cooking every day, she likes to eat in her time. In addition, it will allocate similar tasks in one part of its day – for example, to respond to electronic letters and the life administration.
To stay organized and tightened by your tasks “will really help make more energy and opportunities for your life,” she said.

“I think you need to know why you do it and in the days when it’s hard or hard, you can remind yourself … what you are working to start,” Zhang said. “(Results) will appear when you least expect this, and it is from all the consistent efforts you put the way to it.”
