If you have never heard of The eternaut Before the show shows on Netflix, Then you’re not alone. Héctor Germán Oestertheld and an artist Francisco Solano LópezComic 1957 The eternal Very popular in their native Argentine, but it is only published in English, and is currently out of print.
Anyway, The walking dead and The last of us fan undoubtedly noticed similarities between those shows and The eternaut.
That may explain why this series is now among the 10 most popular shows on Netflix.
To serve as an introduction to the series, Watch with us have compiled the three reasons why you should watch The eternaut Currently.

One of the things that really stand out The eternaut is that she is in a hurry to explain what is happening. As the original comic, the story begins in Buenos Aires on an otherwise normal summer day that snow interrupts. Anyone caught outside unprotected died almost immediately, turning humanity into an endangered species in a few minutes.
The walking dead and The last of us Give zombies to the main characters and infect them to fight. But in this show, the dead bodies simply lie where they fall, and there is an almighty sense of terror. It would have been easier if this was something that could be fought with fists or knives. Without giving away too many spoilers, what happened was not an accident or natural incident.

NetflixWe really suggest watching The eternaut in Spanish with English subtitles. There is an English Dub, but the actors have better performances when they read the lines in their native language. Would have been easily transplanted some The eternautA story to America or other countries to expand the appeal, but the original comic happened in Argentina, and the show would have lost something if it were drawn from its national identity.
There are also some obvious cultural differences, especially towards the presence and absence of guns on this show. Unlike American citizens, Argentina does not have a common gun culture, and the few survivors do not quite want to equip themselves. There is also a greater sense of community among neighbors who are no longer so common in the United States. Those are small touches, but they make The eternaut Feeling unique.
Ricardo Darín in ‘The Eternaut.’
NetflixMuch of the show’s appeal falls on Ricardo Darínwho portrays Juan Salvo, the main character in the comic. The series has diverted a bit of the original story to modernize some elements and add a few new members to the auxiliary cast. But Juan dares to go outside first because he has to know if his ex-wife, Elena (Carla Peterson), and their daughter, Clara (Mora fisz), still alive, even if he has to venture his own life in the process.
Darin is also a much older actor than the typical main characters in post-apocalyptic stories. And yet he carries himself with such a decision that the audience can believe that he will survive the situations he encountered. The original comic goes to some mental -folding places with a pretty Juan destination, but it is unclear how close the show will follow that outline. The same we know after six episodes of The eternaut Season 1 is that Season 2 is likely to be even more angry.
