It is too rare original acting adventure comedy

Jokes, fighting sequences and explosions are a winning combination, but nowadays it is uncommon to see acting comedy which is a completely original story. Marvel and DC dominate the genre, and there is nothing wrong with that, but it’s nice to see an original original story. Some of our favorite comedies too low from the last decade have included The falling guyRestart TV show ’80s, and The lost citywho, while not based on an existing IP, was a new version of Romance the stone. On his own initiative Neither – it’s an original story that avoids many of the classic ropes.
Cena plays the role of Mason Pettits, a pre -special forces operator who has settled into a boring desk post in a law firm to be there for his wife (Alice Eve) and a girl. But he takes an assignment escorting journalist Claire Wellington (BREI) to the Latin Paldonian American nation to interview her leader, dictator Juan Venegas (Juan Pablo Raba). Refr only, Claire and Mason are not the interests of love – Mason is devoted to his family and wants to come back to them. And not Venegas, apparently corrupt dictator, not what it seems.

Apart from Dwayne JohnsonFew actors have treated the change from wrestling to acting as well as Cena, who can flex all his muscles – literally and figuratively – in this film. Fans of his comedy in movies like Inhibitors, the suicide cohort and Train appreciates his performance in On his own initiativewhich lets him show his stunt and physical comedy skills while also playing the straight man opposite Brie and Raba. Instead of being the punchline, Cena has to be truly cool freaking – a capable action hero who kicks a barrel and saves the day, without sacrificing laughter.

Alison Brie is one of our favorite actresses, and she does most of the heavy lifting of jokes in this film. Like Claire, she plays a journalist at her last chance in Redemption after being caught lying in one of her stories. Her despair for a “lifetime scoop” pushes her into increasingly absurd situations.
If you enjoyed Brie at shows like Community and BurnYou will love to see her lead a feature movie. She has the comedic chops to carry the film, and although she does not lead the acting scenes, she gets a few seconds that display the stunt work she rose Burn.
There is a very unique sci-fi atmosphere among the great action films on Hulu in July. But that’s suitable because there is no action film more suitable for the month than Independence Day, Fflic an all-American American Sci-Fi alien invasion. On his own initiative is the perfect summer acting movie-it’s fast, it’s silly and it deviates on the talent of its stars. With that in mind, it is not surprising that he is doing so well on Netflix this month.
