In terms of movies going to NetflixIt is much easier to recommend movies we have already seen rather than something new or unknown.
But there’s one Netflix movie I can’t wait to watch in August I have never seen before, and it is called Night always come.
This is a crime excitement film by a director Benjamin Caron and a screenwriter Sarah Conradt Based on the novel The night is always coming by Willy Vlautin.
So far, this Netflix original looks like it will be one of the best on the Streamer this month. And there are three simple reasons why I’m so eager to see it.

Currently there is only one full -length trailer for Night always come. But it conveys the story in just over two minutes of pictures. Lynette (Vanessa Kirby) is a woman in her 30s who cares for her older brother, Kenny (Zack Gottsagen), which has Down’s syndrome. Lynette had a deal to buy a home for herself and Kenny until their mother, Doreen (Jennifer Jason Leigh), spend all their money and leave them loud and dry.
We can gather from Lynette’s dialogue that Kenny has been removed from her care before, and she is determined to prevent that happening again. That’s why she’s ready to revisit her shadow past and dive into the criminal underworld to raise the money she needs before she loses everything. Judging from the clips, theft, robbery and even trying to murder is just a few of the crimes he is prepared to commit to getting what she needs.
Vanessa Kirby always comes at night
NetflixKirby gets quite a moment this summer as one of the leaders in The Four Fantastic: First Steps. Night always come Clearly a very different film of film, and Kirby served as a producer to help bring her to life. If the trailer is any indication, Kirby will bring the intensity necessary to his role as Lynette as she convey her despair and drive.
Some of the scenes with Kirby in the city remind me of one of his earlier movies, Italian studies. While she played Amnesiac in that film, Lynette knows who she is in this film. The real question is whether Lynette knows how far over the line she is ready to go to keep her family together.
Jennifer Jason Leigh and Vanessa Kirby always come at night
NetflixIt’s skeptical that Night always come He had a big budget, but has a very talented cast of performers to support Kirby’s main character. Leigh is a former actress who broke out Fast times are high Ridgemont over four decades ago, and she has appeared in cult classics as Miami Blues. The Deputy Hudsucker and The hateful eight. A list of Gottsagen credits is much shorter, but he had a nonconformist role himself The peanut butter hawk In 2019.
Watch‘S. Randall Park She seems to play a love of convenience to Lynette in the trailer, and she seems to steal off after their contact. Homecoming‘S. Stephan James Plays one of Lynette’s friends and allies. The rest of the cast is rounded by Julia Fox. Michael Kelly and even director Roth’s Eli in a rare acting role. If the script and film itself can live up to the standard of these performers then Night always come It can turn out to be one of Netflix’s best summer movies.
Night always come streaming on Netflix on August 15.
