The more lather, the better — at least, that’s my motto when it comes to body wash. I consider myself a body wash connoisseur: Of all the beauty products that land on my desk (trust me, there’s a ton), I end up stockpiling every single one for myself. Even with my body wash obsession, very little has surprised me. That being said, I knew of a new Method Dream Foam Body Wash is something special from the first pump.

Just a few weeks ago, I was talking to my friends about how we thought it was weird if people we knew didn’t use lotion after showering. “They must have very well hydrated skin” we concluded. Little did we know, we weren’t reaching for the right body wash. I’ve been a person who (…) for a while

I usually use a gel wash that takes a loofah or some serious scrubbing to produce a rich, juicy lather. However, the Dream Foam Body Wash foamy from the moment it dispenses and covers my skin with pillowy moisture. Even better than the luxurious texture are the loud scents. I was surprised by the first scent of Jasmine + Sandalwood, an ethereal yet comforting scent reminiscent of my coveted Le Labo fragrance.

In fact, all of the scents are similar to high-end perfumes. Vetiver + Amber feels cozy and base – perfect for cold winter days when you want to spend extra time in a hot shower. Tuberose + White Flowers transports me to a blooming wildflower field, and Sea Spray + Salt Air is calming yet energizing, just like the ocean.

I had this misconception that foaming formulas are not inherently as hydrating as other textures. After incorporation this body wash into my routine, I know that is far from true. This foaming wash is infused with gentle yet powerful moisturizing ingredients, such as glycerin and aloe, that keep skin bouncy, soft and happy long after I’ve stepped out of the shower. Since I started using these, I haven’t experienced that dry or tight feeling — something that is all too common after a winter shower. (Naturally, dry skin and extra dry air don’t mix.) I still smooth body lotion on after cleansing to lock in moisture, but using this body wash has definitely improved my moisture retention as well.

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the fact that a bottle is less than $15. The rich foaming formula combined with the luxurious scents definitely warrants a higher price. Not to mention each bottle will give you 250 pumps of frothy goodness. I won’t question it, though! If you ask me, the low price justifies buying every scent at once!

Start the year with a body product that your whole family will love. As soon as you get a switch and feel the luxurious foam for yourself, you will make sure that there is a Dream Foam Body Wash Method in each shower.
