This Friday, May 2, the story will be held when, for the first time, a boxing event will be held in Times Square. A triple head value of the occasion will head the event, with some of the largest boxing stars; The card will have: Ryan Garcia towards Rolly Romero, Devin Haney towards Jose Ramirez and Teofimo Lopez verse Arnold Barboza Jr.
The first game of the triplehead line could be the most interesting, as it could be a fight or a boxing technical match, depending on the aggressive Linear champion Theophimo.
Arnold Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 kos) is an undefeated boxer whose level of competence has increased significantly recently. In his last three games, he has fought against Jack Catterall, Jose Ramirez and Sean McComb. All have been a little close, no more than their game against Sean McComb. Although Barboza was awarded the victory of the decision, in a debatable way, there are those who feel that he lost the game.
McComb launched and beat Barboza 107 to 99, respectively. Keep it in unique digits in punctured punches in five of the twelve rounds. It did so by boxing a technical match that used the lateral movement, range and effect. Barboza has admitted that López is an athletic boxer. It is that athletics that will allow Teo to replicate the performance of McComb’s boxing, if he decides to do it.
Theophimo Lopez (21-1, 13 kos) is agile, fast and mobile. You can fight a technical coincidence if you choose it, but it is sometimes unpredictable and instead chooses to fight when you should not. In his last match against volume, the pressure fighter Steve Claggett, fought smartly in a boxing way with a similar approach used by McComb against Barboza. In doing so, López was able to reduce the offensive effectiveness of Claggett.
Maintain it to a total connection percentage of 17 percent to 12 rounds, dramatically minimizing its total crime. Claggett, a volume punch, which, on average, threw 102.7 punching per round before López, remained at about 54 against Teo due to his inability to achieve a moving goal. Barboza had a difficulty against McComb due to his mobility, a set of skills that Lopez has, and if he is used effectively, he can make it difficult to offensively for Barboza (Compubox).
Teo faced Vasiliy Lomachenko and Josh Taylor well, but he mistakenly adopted a wrong approach to George Kamboses, choosing to stay in his pocket and exchange it instead of boxing. Kambos could have set López to fight his attacking struggle with verbal insults throughout the combination of struggle.
In this game against Barboza, it seems very energetic and a game for the game, and although he slapped Barboza in The Press in Los Angeles, he seems controlled to the point that he is aware of which strategy was made against Arnold. There is a little animosity and resentment on the part of Barboza for overlooking a López attack many years ago.
Teo saw Barboza as a game and heard he was not complicated. López does not have to underestimate Arnold and he must take it seriously; It puts a legitimate threat and, if Teo has a lower performance, he could find -in the end loser. López must perform and execute all its potential; If he does, he will win the game.
