Theophimo Lopez claims that Turki Alshikh fired

Theophimo Lopez published tonight on social media, saying he had been “Shot” by Turki Alshikh, suggesting that his association is over. If Wbo Light Welterweight Lopez (22-1, 13 kos) champion is fired by Turki, financially, it would be an important blow to his career. Would not fight Turki’s events.

The silence of Turki Alshikh

Turki has not made a statement that confirms what Teofimo says about the end of his employment relationship.

López had recently been pressing strong, trying to fight the unified heavy weight champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. He hoped that Turki would help make this struggle to happen. If López has been fired, his chances of fighting the boots is less likely.

Ennis focuses on capturing the last two belts needed to be indisputable. He was not excited to delay his goal to defend -against Teophimo.

Jaron Ennis: belts during the pay days

Unlike other money-focused fighters, Jaron (34-0, 29 kos) worries more about competing. Therefore, it would prefer to achieve its goals than to take time for a good payment day against Teofimo Lopez or other fighters. Ennis is in a career against time.

It is more critical that Ennis captures the belts as quickly as possible because it is becoming increasingly difficult to make the limit of 147 LB. Taking time to defend -Against Teo would make it difficult for him. It should probably have moved up to 154 more than a year ago, but has chosen to be caught. Larger fights wait for the boots in 154, but is determined to stay in 147 for the time it takes.

Barboza Fight: Bad Performance

Theophimo recently defended his Wbo title successfully against Arnold Barboza Jr. At Times Square of Turki in New York City on May 2. It was not an exciting performance of Teo, which was mainly clown, showboing and using a Shakur-Esque style and did not try to entertain the struggle for fans who ordered the event to PPV.

It was ugly to look, and one of the worst fights on the card. Devin Haney’s clash against Jose Ramirez assumed honors as the most unmatched struggle.
