On Monday, August 25, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced the staff of 16 members of the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team for the next Sri Lanka National Cricket Team Series.
The Zimbabwe Cricket Selection Committee (ZC) has added the veteran Batsman of a wick and the former employer, Brendan Taylor, to the hatred staff.

“We are delighted to welcome Brendan in the fold. His experience and quality are indispensable, especially in situations of pressure, and his presence will certainly lift the dressing room.
“This squad has been selected to give us the best opportunity against a strong side of Sri Lanka. We have combined the winners of proven matches with players who are hungry to do their mark and that the mix of experience and energy will be crucial as we move from the red dance cricket to the fast rhythm of hatred.”
In the meantime, Chevrons’s main coach Justin Sammons said he was expecting to bounce after bad performances in recent red ball games at home. Said:
“We have just left a hard series of red balls, and now it is to adjust to the rhythm and intensity of the one-day cricket. Sri Lanka is a strong side of the white ball and will punish any lap, so we have to be sharp of the ball.
In addition, the Craig Ervine pattern highlighted the importance of being flexible and well prepared for results in favor of the Sri Lanka series.
“Passing from red ball to white ball is always a test, especially against a Sri Lanka caliber team. We need to stay flexible, support our plans and make the most of our home conditions to compete strongly in both games.”
