Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh request the role of national selectors
Two former Indian cricketers, Pragyan Ojha and Rudra Pratap Singh, popularly known as RP Singh, have been proposed to become the new members of the Indian Senior Selection Committee led by Ajit Agarkar.
For both vacancies, the BCCI had requested applications last month. As learned through Indian Express, the Council has received a warm response from the well -known former international cricketers.

CAC to interview candidates and choose BCCI carriers
According to the procedure, the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), consisting of Ashok Malhotra, Jatin Paranjpe and Sulashna Naik, has been given the responsibility of preserving the candidates for both positions on the senior men’s selection committee.
They will interview and submit to the two most appropriate candidates for the wide set of applicants. The CAC will recommend the names of the candidates chosen to the BCCI office carriers, which would later approve the CAC recommendation.
