Hockey Lee, who was extradited from South Korea to New Zealand in November 2022, did not find himself guilty of two murder charges.
The remnants of her children were found in a suitcase family, which acquired the contents of an abandoned storage block at Auckland.
It was believed that the bodies were kept for several years.
Ms. Lee, 44, is a national New Zealand born in South Korea and lived in Auckland for several years during the alleged crime, according to the New Zealand Media.
In 2017, the child’s father died of cancer.
Two children died a while after that, though it is unknown if exactly. The reports of their age are different, but they are said to be old between the ages of six and 10 at the time of death.
According to the South Korean police, Ms. Lee left New Zealand in South Korea in 2018.
Then the children’s bodies were discovered in August 2022 after the family bought a trailer of goods, including suitcases, on an online auction.
Local media reports that the sale was part of the efforts to clean up the abandoned storage unit.
Police said buyers have no connection with death.
Ms. Lee was arrested in Ulsan, South Korea in September 2022 after Interpol made a world red message for her.
The children’s identities were not publicly released after the decree on the suppression requested by the members of their extended family.
