The trailer for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is finally out

Spider-Man was shut down films for years, and it’s almost as long since he titled a cartoon. The new series Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (at first Spider-Man: Freshman Year) brings the webhead back to the world of TV, but Marvel has been pretty cagey with the show since Comic-Con. two years to do. Fortunately, we now have our first full look at the upcoming series.

If you’ve seen the MCU Spider-Man movies and felt that he needed to have some smaller adventures, it seems that Friendly neighborhood got you covered. Set in an alternate reality, this iteration of Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) is just getting started as Spider-Man. He also has a new group of amazing friends in Harry Osborn, Nico Minoru (Grace Song) and Daredevil (Charlie Cox). And the biggest change of all? Instead of Tony Stark, his surrogate father is Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo), who decides to help Peter reach his full heroic potential by providing him with some new clothes.

Other than that, it looks like we’re in default Spider-Man Cartoon Mode: Peter balances being a high schooler with a street hero who fights bad guys and tries to look after the neighborhood. We will see what this new show has to offer when Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to move to Disney+ on January 29, 2025.
