Former Indian coach and legend of cricketing Rahul Dravid Has praised India’s Hate Pattern Rohit Sharma. Celebrated by his leadership qualities and his notable career, Rohit was recognized by Dravid as one of the largest Indian captains of all time. The duo also shared the glory of the World Cup, guiding India in the title of the T20 World Cup in 2024.
In a recent conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin to the popular podcast ‘Kutti stories with ash‘, Dravid reflected on his time with Rohit. He said it was a rewarding experience, emphasizing that Rohit was deeply careful about the team, he was clear from his vision from the beginning and knew what he cared for more. Dravid added that this clarity played a crucial role in conforming to the captain, Camp, as he always believed that the team should bring the captain’s identity.
“It was very good. What I always felt I always felt that it was deeply cared for by the team and was, from day one, very clear how I wanted to run the team and what was important to him. And this is really important in any relationship between a captain and a coach, especially as I train. I always like to believe that he should be the captain’s team.” Said Dravid.

Dravid further added that while a captain sometimes needs guidance to obtain clarity and understand what is required, Rohit emphasized as his expectations were very clear. He knew how he wanted the team to work, the environment that the general atmosphere was built and maintained.
“Sometimes you have to help a captain in terms of clarity and understanding of what is required. But with Rohit, I thought it was very clear about what the team wanted, how I wanted the environment to be, how I wanted the atmosphere to be and how he wanted things to work.” Rahul also said.
