The second forensic expert testified on Wednesday in Karen read The trial of Google’s search Jennifer McCaba came after John O’KIFE was found, not before, as claimed defense.

The defense claims that the search took place at 2:27 am – a few hours before the investigators say that read, McCababi and Carey Roberts found that O’Kipha is dead in the snow at 34 FairView Road – the wrong, she testified. Hyde testified using certain terms – “Editors of Hex”, “Hash -Messages” and database files that make up in the technical details on how the data is retained and interpreted by phone. Even inexperienced analysts can have problems thinking about things, she testified.
David Gelman, a defender who is following the case, has questioned the prosecution’s decision to have an expert witness on such technical testimony that appeared before the midday break.
“For the expert you want them to make sense for the age of 5,” he said Digital Fox News. “They failed today. Add that it was an incredibly sad topic. I would argue that the jury just looked at the clock all the time, thinking they would order for lunch.”

After lunch, defense lawyer Robert Alesia coped with the cross -interrogation, raising the same technical terms and frying the high -court testimony in the first trial of the reading in which he did not enter.
Last year, the trial ended with a deadlock, causing the state to attract a special prosecutor Hanka Brennan to repeat the case.
Without the presence of a jury, Alesia asked for a permission to the Maryland’s recent case, which, he said, showed that Hyde was an unreliable witness. Judge Bverley Cannon sided with the Brennan team and said he could not decide the judge in this case, but she said she would freely cross an experienced impact on the methodology she used to draw her conclusions.

During the cross -interrogation, she testified that the O’KIFF phone was not fixed according to the “best practices” installed after the police resumed it from the stage.
Gelman said she was sparring from Ales, often using the same technical terms that may have delivered jury.

“The jurors do not want to worry all day and days,” he said. “They want to get into meat and potatoes.”

“Do you know, or another piece in the bag – is a piece that is cut off?” Brennan asked. “Do you know how it arrived there?”

Brennan asked to transfer the works to evidence, but after the obligation of the reading defense, the court instructed Kiep to place the third part in a separate bag for evidence.
