The rookie Finale brought back two villains, and at last Tim Bradford made his intentions with Lucy Chen known – but the episode left us more questions than answers.
During the end of Tuesday’s season 7, May 13, Oscar Hutchinson (Matthew’s heads) reappeared after escaping prison during the end of season 6 with the help of corrupted attorney Monica Stevens (Bridget Regan).
Oscar went on to kill two of his former partners – and a kidnapping officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) – To hunt buried treasure in Barstow, California. Nolan and Oscar batted in the wilderness and although Oscar escaped, Nolan came away with the stolen diamonds.

Monica, meanwhile, staged her epic return during the final seconds of the episode, revealing that she made an immune deal with the FBI in exchange for the data she stole earlier this season.

“We got one bite to an apple, you know, trying to fix a mistake and we’ll see where it’s going,” he added, admit, “There’s still a play.”
Oscar tried to kill Nolan during the finale but a detective Nyla Harper (You have a cox) He managed to save him and in turn Nolan blocked Oscar’s plans to get trophies of diamond heist in the past. “Oscar is always very focused on what is good for Oscar,” shared Hawley, revealing that, unlike some of the other villains on the series, he is not so “revenge -vengeance.”
While Oscar will come back at some point, Hawley said he was aware that they cannot “continue to go back to the well of him escaping” so the writers will work on his “end game” or “end of chapter” for the character soon.
Hawley admitted that part of the reason behind Monica’s return is “Excite more drama”Within the lapd.“ It’s… scary for our people who want nothing more than putting her in prison where she deserves to be, the fact that she has escaped the hanger’s nose, as it were, ”he explained.
The TV writer revealed “there will be more to this immune deal to develop which will help drive his story in season 8.” That said, Monica, like Oscar, will have to say goodbye to the show at some point. “I don’t think we can live at Ffynnon Monica or even Oscar forever,” admitted Hawley.

He admitted that “a hundred percent is not sure where he goes” over the young love birds, but in the writers’ minds “she is young, she is young” so only time will tell.
After calling his engagement during season 7, Rookie Miles Penn (Augustin Deric) almost killed during his first date of dating site at -lein. Miles claimed he was taking a break from dating, but Hawley told Us There is much more to focus on with the character next season.
“His rookie year is not over, obviously. It’s a 13 month program and the timeline on the show, is kind of, not all seasons are a year,” said Hawley, noting, “We’re going to live in his rookie year for a while.”
Within his ongoing training, Hawley shared that fans will see him hoping to “overcome” “barrier” to live in his car and navigate “who he is in Los Angeles.”
