Zimbabwe T20i Captain Sikandar Raza has filed an official complaint to Haare’s Metropolitan Association, alleging racist abuse during a recent Vigne Cup match. The incident was deployed during a local match where Sikandar Raza represented his club.
According to local media reports, Raza faced abuse when he was out of the field. It is said that Rainbow’s main coach of Cricket Club, Blessing Mafuwa, made the alleged racist observations directly to the captain of the Zimbabwe Cricle National Team and the protagonist.

Witnesses on the ground have also supported Raza’s demand. Raza now has demanded that strict and appropriate actions be taken against Rainbow’s main coach of Cricket Club, citing that there is no room for this behavior and racism in Zimbabwe cricket.

The Harare Metropolitan Cricket Association has confirmed the receipt of the complaint and launched a complete investigation on this subject.
It is also reported that club officials have already begun talking to players, areas and others who were present during the game to gather detailed tests on this topic.

When Sikandar Raza’s swirl trip ended in PSL 2025 glory
Last month, Raza made the headlines to reach the stadium only 10 minutes before the launch of the PSL 2025. The Zimbabwe All-Rounder arrived at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore only 10 minutes before the launch after flying to England until the PSL 2025 final.

He was recently part of the Zimbabwe four -day test game against England and scored 7 and 70 runs during the massive defeat of his team last month. Zimbabwe will host South -Africa in the first test at the Queens Club from June 28 to July 2, with the second and last scheduled for the same venue from July 6 to 10. South -Africa, which will face Australia in the final of the WTC 2025, have already named their workforce for the next Testing series in Zimbabwe. The hosts still have to appoint their template for the test series.
