Duo punk rap with UK This shouted: “Death of IDF” and “Free Palestine” during their recruitment at the Glastonbury Festival is now condemned by political and festival officials for their actions.
London Bob Wilan describes itself on X as “the most beautiful punk/rap/alt you will ever meet.” With such songs as “We live here”, “Mara is greater”, “makes me forcibly” and “conditions”, the duo mixes rap and punk elements.
On Saturday, the duo held a high-energy set at the Glastonbury festival, which eventually turned into a political podium for the group singer to shout out anti-Israel rhetoric.
Holding the microphone, singer Bobby Vylan shouted: “Death, Death IDF (Israeli Defense Forces)”, several times before turning the microphone to the crowd to force the participants to repeat. BBC reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned Bob Vilan for return to the death of Israeli troops using “the horrible language of hatred“
The BBC reportedly broadcast live festival decided to remove the duo from its iPlayer.
The BBC said she issued a warning on the screen of a “very strong and discriminatory language” during a direct broadcast, the Associated Press reports.
The organizers of the festival did not accept the comments slightly and since then released a statement on Instagram, stating: “The Glastanbury Festival was created in 1970 as a place to come together and rejoicing music, art and the best human endeavor.”

“As a festival, we oppose all forms of war and terrorism. We will always believe – and actively hold a campaign for – hope, unity, peace and love,” the statement reads. “Of the almost 4,000 speeches in the Glastonbury 2025, in our stages, which appear in our stages, there will inevitably be artists and performances whose views we do not share, and the presence of the performer should never be considered as a silent approval of their opinions and beliefs.

The weakly known as the largest summer music festival in the UK, annually attracts the crowd of almost 200,000 fans of music to a decent farm in the southwest of England. About 4,000 acts perform during the festival in 120 stages.
