Years ago my wife Grazi sang for the president George Bush At a special event in Nashville. This performance opened another door. A year later, she was invited to sing at the 2004 Republican National Convention in Madison -Skver -Harden in New York.

After her speech in New York, we were introduced into the president’s field – sitting back immediately George Hw and Barbara Bush. The day the White House called again when we were going to head home.

They wanted us on the platform with the president when he accepted his nomination.

an empty grave

On Thursday evening, the Arena growled. The flags hung sharp and vibrant overhead. The crowd ejected the seats. The place was pulsed as a living being. When you look footage, you will see Grays and me a little over the left shoulder of the president, clapping until our hands gave out.

Why Easter has the value

No matter how surrealistic, one moment stood out – and it did not happen on stage or near the president. It happened a week after Nashville. I went back to the same hotel and went past the ballroom – the same the room that spent the presidentSecret service, media and temporary place of the American authorities.

Now?

Empty. No podium. No flags. There was no chair. Just another room that awaits the next event.

This is a business in this world. This is a big one – but it does not remain.

The scene goes away. The room is dumped. The moment passes.

The Great Revolution makes the Tiran world tremble

Even the Madison -Skver -Harden is a landmark as he is the same scheme. One night it was a national spotlight. Next, just the arena again.

In January I watched the president Donald TrumpSecond inauguration. As former President Bush and his wife Laura entered the Capitol Rotand, their arrival was announced and warmly met with polite applause. But it did not compare with the threatening greeting, which he once received at this stage in New York – or even in this ballroom.

The weight and glory of the office moved on.

That’s how it works. Earthly glory is loud, impressive and short -lived.

But not with Christ.

He did not take the stage. He was raised to the Roman cross – as Moses raises the snake into the desert. He was brought up – not to inspire, but to preserve.

In just 3 days your life may change for the better. Easter shows as

The hill was not grand. Golhhot was garbage.

No spotlight. No entourage. No applause. Just the Savior – And the cross.

The presidents contain borrowed power. Christ does not lend anything.

And here’s the difference: when the president leaves the room, the force goes with him.

When Christ enters life, He remains.

It does not come to the ceremony. It comes to management – and attributes of his office never go away.

Holy Week and Easter Sunday offer a message like no other. And it can change your life

That night at Madison -Skver -Harden if President Bush It came forward, the air broke out with energy – it was electric.

Three crosses on hil

Golhhot was garbage. Not the focus. No entourage. No applause. Just a savior – and a cross. (Istock)

But it was only a spark compared to what Christ brings.

“And the government will be on his shoulder …” (Isaia 9: 6)

This is not a political slogan. This is the throne.

The presidents take the oath for a term. Jesus sealed the eternal promise of his own blood.

After all, the presidents leave the platform. Christ left the grave.

Madison -Skver -Harden shook with applause. The land is shaken The Resurrection of ChristAnd the stone rolled off.

We once stood in the shadow of power. From Easter we can stand in her source.
