The Portugal Prime Minister’s party wins the election but does not give up most

The Portuguese ruling democratic alliance, which took place in the center, won the Snap parliamentary election – the third year – unable to most.

His leader Luis Montenegro has promised to “stimulate investment” and “guarantee well -being and social justice.”

Socialist Pedro leader Nuno Santos announced his resignation after his party ended at a second, and lost so many places that as a result in the neck and neck with the far right-handed Czega.

Socialists could even slip behind Chega if the results of voters abroad, which will take several days, reflect those in the last year’s elections when two of the four places went to Chega and one for the Socialists.

Chega leader Andre Ventura stated that the “historical” result noted the end of bilateral domination in Portugal.

His campaign was focused on immigration and corruption issues, and Chega probably helped the fact that this election and the previous ones were caused by scandals involving the Prime Minister of the Day.

Montenegro, in her statements, thanked her family and a “political family” who defended him from attacks related to transactions made by the company, which he created before became a party leader and now belongs to his sons.

It was a dispute that caused the election after the government lost trust.

Meanwhile, Santos, in his own comments, confirmed his opinion that Montenegro was unable to be prime minister, believing that the Socialist Party should not release the case.
