The person dies after suspected attack on the shark in Sydney

The man died on the beach in Sydney after bitten by the suspected “big shark”, South Wales said in Australia.

In a statement, the police said the ambulance services pulled a man from the morning surf on the shore on the beach Long Rifa – but he “died at the scene.”

“Two sections of the surf board were restored and accepted for the expert exam,” the statement said.

The incident on Saturday led to a number of closure in a popular area known as the northern beaches.

State Police said the ambulance was operating on Saturday (00:00 GMT) after reports that “a person was injured”.

The victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed.

Local police and experts will work together to “determine the types of sharks”.

Last Deadly Shark Attack in the Sydney area in 2022 when Simon Nepille – British Diving Instructor – was subjected to a large white shark.

Before that, there was no deadly attack since 1963.

Usually, Australia records about 20 sharks attacks each year, most in the new South Wales and Western Australia.

Historically, die of shark bite rarely. For more than a century, the death mortality rate in Australia is 0.9 – less than one person per year.
