Oz wizard is ruined, and it’s fine. It’s okay because the film now falls out of cultural relevance, and our choices to live in a world where no one under 20 will have seen or probably even know what Oz wizard is, or doing something silly and very gimmick with him to try to engage people in the original film.

So how is it spoiled? They use AI to modernize it in the huge circle in Las Vegas.

The sphere is a mega-size globe screen, and Oz wizard Obviously, he was not shot for that. So AI is used to expand the picture and show us more that may have been happening around whatever is in the frame.

Clearly, this is horrific as the fantasy additions do not represent what the filmmakers intended. Worse, most of those we’ve seen look kind of terrible.

Is a wide shot that looks like the sky on a green screen is better than close on the scarecrow? It is not. But if you want to show the film in the last Vegas sphere, you’ll have no choice but to go with the terrible wide shot, produced by AI.

You can hate it, but it’s better than the alternative. The alternative is that this film will soon be forgotten.

Young people don’t care about Oz wizardAnd you can’t make them care. I have four children, aged 8 to 17. I watched it with all of them at some point. They do not know another child who has ever seen him, and to them, just this strange thing their father was doing for them to do. They do not understand why anyone would want to watch acting as fake and poor special effects.
