Only two days before the fifth and final test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, India’s main coach Gambhir, came to an argument heated with Lee Fortis, the main curator of the oval terrain. The controversial incident unfolded during the first internship session of India on July 29.
Things climbed to the extent that India’s battle coach Sitanshu Kotak had to train and calm the situation. Revsportz now stated that it was the Pitch Oval commissioner who caused the Indian Cricket and Gautam Gambhir team with a series of sarcastic and inflammatory observations several times that caused the argument stunned between the two.

According to Revfi, the whole drama began when the Indian Cricket team approached Lee Fortis and asked what they could expect from the playing ground in the oval in the next 48 hours so that they could make their plans, but it became a verbal outburst. A sarcastic fortis said burlous that “would grow more grass for the next two days in this wicket so that you have problems.”

It was the first time that the pitch’s curator has climbed the Indians a bit. But the situation was climbed when Gambhir himself advanced to inspect the pitch, and he was fine inside his rights as the main coach to go to inspect the pitch. But Lee ended up engaging in Gambhir, suggesting that he was trying to look at the doctor beyond the rope and the tensions increased.
The main curator of the Oval said to Gambhir: “You can look at the pitch … but only two and a half meters away.” This is basically beyond the rope.
It wasn’t just that; Fortis Lee also insulted a member of Indian support staff trying to bring an ice box to the field. When the Indian support staff introduced the ice box, the pitch commissioner shouted and requested that he carry the ice box outside the rope.

Lee demanded that he walk all over the rope from outside the line line and then take him saying, “You can’t walk inside the ground.” This behavior was not good with the main coach of India, and these were the things that gave Gautam, and Lee had to face his anger.

What did Gautam Gambhir say to the pitch curator?
During a time in the oval, Lee Fortis approached Gautam Gambhir and said, “I will have to report this.” And the main coach quickly responded: “Go to report whatever you want to report.”
The conversation warmed up when Gambhir pointed out to the ground and said, “You can’t tell us what to do. You’re just one of the land, nothing further on.” He firmly added, “Don’t tell us what to do.”
Later, Siteshu Kotak confirmed that the commissioners behaved badly with Gambhir and the support staff. He said that before the Indian camp, England’s main coach, Brendon McCullum and team director Rob Key, came to the inspection of the pitch, but the rules were not applicable to the hosts.
