The Mickey Bey model for Terence Crawford against Canelo Alvarez; Target of 165-168 pounds to preserve speed and agility

Coach Mickey Bey says that Terence Crawford should not have a heavy weight for his challenge against the champion of Super Media Unified Canelo Alvarez in September.

Bey thinks he is smarter than Bud come lighter from 165 to 168 on the night of struggle. He says Crawford should fight approximately with the same weight as he weighs because this would allow him to keep his speed against Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 kos)

Being heavier will not give Crawford any additional power than the one at 154 or 147. Adding muscle does not improve power in many cases, especially when a fighter is in a hurry during a training field. The only time he adds additional muscle results to an improved power is when a fighter is in Peds, as with steroids designed to create strength.

Crawford’s ideal weight

“In my opinion, I would not come heavy. I would enter 165 and the same weight for the fight. 165 or 168,” said coach Mickey Bey a Millcity Boxing When asked what Terence Crawford should rehydrate -for his fight against the champion of Super Media Unified Canelo Alvarez on September 13.

Crawford already seems to have been doing a lot of kilos and seems much larger than it was for its last struggle. The training field obviously has not begun. Therefore, maybe Crawford will be achieved, but it doesn’t seem to do so. It counts to be able to match Alvarez in the size department.

“You should not need to rehydrate -very much. Should you stay where you are. Why should I rehydrate -much when you move?” Said Bey on Crawford. “I’m talking in the form of a struggle.

Crawford will be slow if it is rehydrated at more than 180 pounds after weighing the struggle of Canelo, and this will work against its ability to move around the ring. The best thing Terence has for him is his speed and mobility. He will sacrifice a lot of this if he wrapped himself until the 180’s.

Fight against night weight

“Everything that feels good in Sparring several times, this is what I would have entered. 168-171, I would stay inside this range. This is the only factor, it is not too slow. 165 and will fight anywhere in the same weight. It will probably be 165 or 170 when it struggles. It can make 160 very easy or 154, it can do.

“Therefore, it can enter into anything, such as Floyd at 154. With Crawford, when it is higher, it will probably be in the 160’s in the camp. So it could also stay there. In a higher way, it will probably be down until the mid-60’s. So I should do nothing. I had Crawford by decision,” said Bey.
