The man swallowed the sink in Seoul found dead

A man who came to a large sink in the South Korea capital was found dead, the local fire department reports.

The man was traveling on a motorcycle near Gangdon when the road was heard at about 6.30 pm on Monday (9.30am).

Rescuers found their body underground on Tuesday morning around 11am local time, about 50 m (164 feet), where it fell.

The driver of the car also suffered an injury in an incident that became viral in South Korean social media.

It seems that the video Dashcam, which is widely distributed on the Internet, shows the moment when the road was heard near the interchange. It shows that a motorcyclist that gets into the hole, while the car that goes before him narrowly avoids it.

Earlier on Tuesday, rescuers found a mobile phone and a motorcycle in the hole, 20 m wide and 20 m deep, local media reported.

The man is said to be in the 30s, not yet named by the authorities.

Kim Chang-Shap, head of the Gangdun Fire Station, said there was 2000 tons of soil and water mixed in the hole at an early briefing.

The authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the sink.
