The 81-year-old man drove the car down the iconic Spanish steps in Rome before stuck down the road.

One of the most famous monuments to Italy, Spanish steps, have never been designed for cars travel.

The driver tested the negative on alcohol and told the officers that he was going to work.

The emergency services had to use the crane to remove the car from the attraction.
