Federal Judge on Friday issued a temporary pause at Trump administration Plans for the restructuring of various government agencies and reduce tens of thousands of federal workers, since the government government was not allowed by Congress.
US County Judge Susan Illstan paused the mass dismissal, directing a group of trade unions, non-profit organizations and local authorities after the lawsuit filed a lawsuit on April 28.
Ilstan said Trump could widely rebuild federal agencies, but only “legal ways” with the approval from Congress.
“The President has powers to seek changes to the executive authorities, but he must do it legal ways, and, in the case of large-scale reorganizations, with the cooperation of the legislative branch,” Ilstan said. “Numerous presidents have sought to cooperate before; many Congressional iterations have provided it.”

“Nothing prevents the president from demanding this cooperation – as it is in the previous term,” the judge continued. “Indeed, the court believes that the president probably must require cooperation in Congress to order the changes he seeks, and thus issues a temporary restrained ruling to dwell on large -scale cuts in force.”
Ilystan’s ruling was the broadest such a kind against the efforts of the Federal Government Administration, which ruled Elon Musk and Department of Government Efficiency, Dodge.
Fox News Digital addressed the White House for comments.
In February, Trump ordered the agency to work with Dogel to identify the goals for mass layoffs under the government restructuring plans.

The President instructed the agencies to eliminate duplicate roles, unnecessary controls and uncritical jobs, as well as automate ordinary tasks, close regional offices and reduce the use of external contractors.
A group of the plaintiffs said that “the illegal attempt of the federal government’s reorganization administration has thrown the agencies into the chaos, violating critical services provided in our country.”
“Each of us represents communities deeply invested in the efficiency of the federal government – postponing federal workers and reorganization of government functions by accident,” the groups said.
Ilstan planned hearing on May 22 on potential longer a preliminary ban. She said that the plaintiffs would most likely cause irreparable damage without a temporary restrained order, which, she said, retains the status of -x.

The judge said the plaintiffs would probably succeed on the essence of some of his claims. They accuse Trump of exceeding his powers and say that the doge, management and budget management and staff management exceeded their powers and violated the administrative law.
“The court here does not consider the potential loss of the income of one individual employee, but the widespread stop of wages and benefits for persons, families and communities,” Ilstan wrote.
